Karmen Fails
Unlike most of the agents at Common Ground, Karmen was NOT born in Philadelphia. A Columbus, OH native, she found her way to Philadelphia by attending University of the Arts as a dance major. Through life’s shifts and circumstance, she found herself in the sales field which led her to real estate through rental leasing. Now 20 years in the field, Karmen has worked as a Property Manager – from luxury high rises to sprawled out rental communities – and as a Trainer and Operations Manager. In 2015 she left the corporate world behind and became a real estate agent, where she then joined Common Ground. A wearer of many hats, Karmen serves Common Ground as its Property Manager, as a Realtor, and as an Office Manager.

Denise took all of these passions and joined Common Ground after getting her real estate license in 2021.
